  1. Very interesting lecture, thank you for pointing it out! I’ll be trying to hunt down the follow ups.

    A lot of things I already knew/conjectured were covered but there was a heap of interesting new info too. Personally I would have drawn a few more comparisons between our cosmos and the representation of the nine worlds. For instance perhaps the mountains surrounding Midgard could be thought of as the asteroid belt surrounding our solar system. That’s rather wild conjecture for such a lecture I suppose though.

    I especially enjoyed the point about knowledge of the gods not being a matter of faith/religion, it is simply how the world is. Though I realise that is not the speakers ‘belief’, it is certainly mine.
